In the nose, Chacayes brings notes of the foothills, with hints of mountain herbs and aguaribay, a regional tree.
Gualtallary, from its high altitude in Tupungato, provides power, boldness, and intensity, creating a bold and vigorous mouth experience. On the other hand, Altamira, in La Consulta, with its extreme climate and elevation, brings minerality and a rather wild character, with strong tannins that complement the experience.
This Malbec is perfect for pairing with grilled meats, lamb, stews, and dishes with intense flavors. It also pairs well with hard cheeses and dark chocolate for a complete and satisfying experience.
Achaval Ferrer Malbec Appellation Valle de Uco es un vino de la variedad Malbec, 100% Malbec, elaborado en la región de Gualtallary, Chacayes y Altamira, ubicada en el hermoso Valle de Uco de la provincia de Mendoza, Argentina. Este vino ha sido envejecido durante 13 meses en barricas de roble francés de segundo y tercer uso, y su creación es el resultado de la combinación de uvas Malbec de estos tres distintos viñedos. El enólogo a cargo de este proceso es Roberto Cripresso.
